Back at it!

Finally got my life a little more organized and a schedule that fits with homeschooling . Sat down and started writing again last night and it just feels right. I love writing and don't realize when I take a break from it for so long, how much I really miss it. This new series is coming slowly, but it's coming and that is what matters.

I have a lot going on and I want to give you all my best writing, so it might take a little longer for me to get this series out. This one is really dear to my heart, so I hope I can do it justice.

Writing is just as much of an escape as reading is for me. I get to do something great, exercising my imagination, and escape into a new world that I am creating. I enjoy pulling from my life experiences and using my kids as inspiration (especially with this new series).

Fantasy lets me express those ideas.

Reading lets me put the words into an image. A movie that I get to see through the eyes of another author. A new world with new people and amazing adventures. I don't understand how someone could not enjoy all of that. Yes, movies are easier to watch, but I like combining my imagination with the author and bringing it to entertain me. Movies are already set, it's the visual they want you to see. I like to create my own.

Again, I love that I have organized my life so that I can fit in writing more and I hope that you will continue to enjoy my books.
