Something old and something new...

Looking back on what was done with my first book series, I was a bit disappointed in myself. I wanted it to be more, but I wasn't patient enough (I feel). I want it be better, so I decided that I am going to go through and re edit (there were a lot more mistakes than I realized) and republish it as 1 book. All 3 books will be separated in that, but it will all be in one book. I didn't realize what I put out there. I thought I did a better job, but I promise, this time, it will be better. I am learning a lot as a writer and growing. I can own up to my mistakes and hopefully fix them.

With that being said, for my next book series I am going to take a different approach. I want to take my time in doing this one justice. I want the readers to really enjoy it and I want to make WAY less mistakes when I publish it. I am going to take a year to get this one done (Hoping to have it out by June). I am going to write all 3 books in this series and then release one at a time. I want to make sure that my boys can read it and approve all that is in it and they have busy lives with school, so I have to take that into consideration and when this one will be published. This book is about them, so I want them to be happy with it. I want them to enjoy it. I am aiming at both boy /girl audiences, to this will be a little harder. I know that my boys are not big fans of ready (breaks my heart), so I know that if they enjoy this book, then a lot of others will. There are few books out there that they have really liked, so I hope I can be one of their favorite authors.

I am excited about these decisions. I love writing, but I want my readers to enjoy my writing as well. I don't want to look back at my books and have regrets and disappointments (like I am doing with the first series). I will be fixing it and I will be taking my time. There is no rush when it come to writing, especially when you self-publish.

I hope you can forgive me for not putting my all into my first series, but I promise I am going back and fixing the mistakes and hopefully you will stand by me while I learn. Thank you all for your support.
