I have read some great books this summer. I like having the extra time to read and get through books I might not be able to during the school year. Since I homeschool my son, I don't get the chance to read that much, or even write. I am still trying to get the mom/author/homeschool/wife thing down.

June 16th was my anniversary for publishing my first book. Since the I have had 9 published. I am hoping to get 2 done a year, I just have to get into the groove of it all. Being a new author is hard. It's hard to promote yourself and gain readers, but I am happy with the few readers I do have. I am still growing and learning as an author, so please bear with me. I promise the books will get better lol.

I have read 58 book so far this year and have really enjoyed reading the YA books. I find my inspiration from reading my favorite authors books. The way they write and draw the readers in... That is what I want for my readers. I want to be able to give you all something that you can't put down, something you are so immersed in that you feel you are your favorite character.

Please bear with me as I grow as a writer. Keep reading and giving me reviews and feedback, because the more feedback I get, the more I can deliver something you won't want to put down, something you will tell your friends about, something that will be your escape. Thank you for being fans!!!

Some of my favorite reads this year: Three Dark Crowns and One Dark Throne (Kendare Blake), Underland, The Iron Butterfly, The Steele Wolf, and The Silver Siren (Chanda Hahn), Marriage Vacation (Pauline Turner Brooks), and Finding Ever After (Stephanie Hoffman McManus).
